Description

this is a free and self-voicing version of the classic and well loved Parker brothers board game. Roll the dice, travel around the board landing on, buying and selling properties, developing them with houses and hotels, and being highly amused when your opponent lands on your square and has to pay you a whacking great wodge of rent!

In Jim's game you can play against one computer opponent, or against multiple human opponents at the same computer. The game can be customised to your liking in a variety of ways, with many different rule options, such as cash on free parking, decision to not allow buying properties until first round the board, and the ability to change the text of almost every in game object thanks to the monopoly board creation program included with the game, which lets you rename the currency, player tokens, hotels, railroads and houses. Of course, a massive amount of custom boards are already included, from startrek, and Captain planet to atlantic city, and of course the well known American and London standards.

As all of Jim’s games install into the same folder you’ll need to install The winkit installer found here, which also adds many of the visual basic dependencies necessary to run not only Jim’s games, but many other’s on modern Windows, though if you have those already you can just download the above file.

To get an idea of how the game is played, you can go Here for an audio review recorded by Chriss Jud and Chasity.

Jim Kitchin sadly passed away on August the 2nd, 2015. To learn more about the late great Jim Kitchin and his vast collection of games, you can Visit the Kitchinsinc page on the Audiogames archive site Which also contains one giant installer so that you can get all of Jim's games in one handy package. Goodbye Jim, you will be sorely missed.
