Welcome to the newer, faster, nastier and now Sapi accessible, highly updated version of Jim Kitchin's racing classic, Mac 1 see index.

Apart from using Ms sapi and working through the standard Kitchinsinc menue program, there is nothing about this game which hasn't recieved absolutely huge updates, better sounds, more tracks, more options for racing such as setting number of laps, ---- and above all, some of the most realistic and fine tuned controls yet seen in audio games.

The controls in fact are so realistically sensative, ---- reflecting as they do you zooming around various racing tracks at 225 mph, that they actually make some tracks incredibly hard to play on a standard keyboard, and thus a modified control, ---- especially a steering wheel, is most certainly recommended for this game should you have one.

Nevertheless playing on the keyboard is possible, ----- though you won't achieve half as good times as some one with a racing wheel, and the sheer amount of options and realism in this game make it incredibly rewarding to play however badly you do. The game is also, ---- like all of Jim's other offerings, completely and entirely free as well.

As usual with Jim Kitchin's games, you'll need to first download and run the Winkit.exe file Which will install a menue and program group containing an area for Jim's games, ----- as well as the necessary components to run them. Then, feel free to download Wincart, ---- or any other of Jim's games as you wish.

The Winkit file will also install the game of life as a start off. IF you don't want this, just run the uninlife file found wherever you installed the Kitchinsinc program, ---- probably in c:\program files\kitchinsinc and the game of life will be removed. Running any of the other unin files will also uninstall any of Jim's other games without uninstalling the hole program.

Jim Kitchin sadly passed away on August the 2nd, 2015. To learn more about the late great Jim Kitchin and his vast collection of games, you can Visit the Kitchinsinc page on the Audiogames archive site Which also contains one giant installer so that you can get all of Jim's games in one handy package. Goodbye Jim, you will be sorely missed.

Happy racing.
